CD Technologies Asia, Inc. has been setting the standard in legal research in the Philippines since 1994. It was incorporated by a group of professionals, mostly lawyers, as a pioneering venture in the field of electronic publishing in the Philippines.
Since its goal is to become the total solutions provider for the legal profession, it specializes in the authoring and publication of legal resources in various media (e.g., CD-ROM, Internet, and print), electronic data conversion and archiving, and organization of seminars and conferences, being a Supreme Court-accredited provider of Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) activities.
The company is the publisher and distributor of the first ever and most recognizable Philippine law library of its kind, the Lex Libris series. It also carries special legal titles and authored works. The company has expanded its clients beyond the legal profession, after different businesses and agencies found its product lines to be useful. It now has a nationwide base of more than 4,000 users and subscribers, including the country's top law firms, private corporations, government offices, non-government organizations, foreign offices, professional libraries, and educational institutions.
Now on its 16th year, CD Asia takes its supremacy in electronic legal research to a new level by launching the Philippine Legal Encyclopedia and cdasiaonline.com.
